okay can somebody tell me what the hell north is saying at the beginning of the scene where they talk about north’s center?
i mean, i freaking hear jack say something similar like he’s trYING TO FIGURE IT OUT AND APPARENTLY NEITHER ME NOR JACK CAN FIGURE THIS OUT. IT’S BEEN BUGGING ME IS THIS A RUSSIAN THING OR???

WHICH IS ACTUALLY A PHRASE
“Brass Tacks” which no one is quite sure what it means, as far as I can tell but it is a phrase “Get down to brass tacks.”
Edit: It means to get to the basics, or the facts, coming from the fact that the base of chairs had brass tacks for support or something like that
